GET INVOLVED
Let’s meet up in real life to share in the beauty of the natural world. Click the button below or keep scrolling for more info.
VOLUNTEER
Folks can join us Saturday mornings 9am–12pm. We meet on the south side of the lake at the Lake Hiawatha Delta Habitat area (see map on the right). Parking is available on the south side of East Minnehaha Parkway near the Nokomis Community Center.
We meet to clean up trash and work on stewarding the habitat area from late April until November. During the winter season we focus on planning and preparation for the warm season.
Contact us via the form above to get involved! In addition, all volunteers must complete the Minneapolis Parks & Recreation Board Volunteer Waiver linked below.
DONATIONS
We also accept material donations! Listed below are some commonly donated items. Please reach out to us to see if we can use what you have!
Plants (and seeds) native to the region

Thank you, and see you at the Lake!
